Star Plus’ popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starring Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit recently underwent a 7 year leap, post which the dynamics of the characters have drastically changed. While Abhira and Armaan have now grown apart, their daughter Pookie, aka, Maira stays with Armaan, away from Abhira and the Poddars.

In the upcoming track of the show, Armaan finds Maira hiding silently inside a toy shop carton after running away from school, and while she refuses to speak, her sadness leaves Armaan deeply worried that something serious has happened. Maira refuses to go to school. Geetanjali stays back to care for her, and through a gentle story and bond, she encourages Maira to finally reveal that she’s hiding a painful secret.

We had earlier informed about Abhira, who is seen worried about her upcoming bank penalty, is anxiously awaiting a review from her client Armaan Gupta. With the stress of the bank penalty looming on her, Abhira is forced to work with this client, even though his name keeps stirring and bringing up her painful past memories with now separated husband Armaan Poddar.

In the current track of the show, while Armaan is staying with his daughter Pookie at Geetanjali’s residence on rent, Abhira, now stays with Kaveri and Vidya. The Poddar house is over taken by Krish, who now heads the house and has been giving a pretty tough time to everyone. He has also been very disrespectful towards Kaveri.

In the episode of the show tonight, Armaan avoids a personal question on his radio show, but a romantic song triggers memories for both him and Abhira. Distracted, Abhira visits an orphanage, feeling overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya buy flowers for Abhira, but Maira mistakenly takes them. When Abhira learns the flowers were meant for her, she’s touched—only for Vidya to suddenly suffer a nosebleed. At the hospital, Kaveri asks Abhira to complete a saree delivery. Though hesitant, she agrees. While Maira and Dadu await her, Abhira trips and gets hurt just before arriving.

For the uninformed, the current generation leap also marked the exit of Garvita Sadhwani from the show. Her character Ruhi, along with son Daksh, moves to Japan, for a better life of Daksh.
