In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan steps in when he sees Abhira washing dishes and insists on taking over the task. Though hesitant at first, Abhira agrees and lets him do it. As he works, Vidya curiously asks him who taught him to cook. She hints that maybe he wasn’t alone during his time away, suggesting he may have been living with someone else. Armaan responds with guilt, saying that his actions caused pain to Abhira, Vidya, and Kaveri. Trying to shift the topic, he asks about how their sari business is doing now.
Vidya shares that things were tough after he left, especially for Abhira, who worked hard to keep things going. However, when Anshuman entered their lives, things improved. The business began making a profit. Vidya praises Anshuman, calling him a reliable man, and adds that Kaveri is thinking about getting Abhira married to him. This leaves Armaan stunned and unsettled. Elsewhere, Krish finds out that the Poddar family no longer has shares in the company. Feeling betrayed, he vows to take revenge on Armaan. Meanwhile, Vanya calls off her wedding with Krish, but he refuses to accept her decision and tries to stop her.
Later, Armaan brings up Abhira’s possible wedding with Anshuman and accuses her of sending divorce papers because of her bond with him. Abhira hits back, reminding him that he got engaged to Geetanjali without telling her the full truth. She also confronts him about hiding the fact that Myra is Geetanjali’s daughter. Hurt, she questions how he could so easily replace Pookie, the child they raised, with someone else. Armaan is filled with regret for not being honest about Myra. Meanwhile, Krish asks Kajal to help convince Tanya to go through with their wedding. Kajal refuses, and Manisha questions Krish’s motives, saying Tanya isn’t mature enough for marriage. Tanya also has doubts and tells Anshuman she wants to cancel the wedding. Anshuman decides to stay back and not go on a business trip, ready to confront Krish, but Tanya urges him not to change his plans for her.

At another moment, Myra talks to Armaan and asks when he’ll come home. He promises her he’ll return soon. Later, Geetanjali tells Armaan that Myra has enrolled both of them for the school’s upcoming sports day. Abhira overhears this conversation and finally pieces together the truth about Armaan’s life with Geetanjali and Myra. Armaan feels stuck—he believes Myra is too young to be told who Abhira really is, especially since she believes Geetanjali is her mother. Back at home, Kajal tries to make Tanya reconsider breaking off the marriage. Tanya listens, and though Manisha strongly disapproves and accuses Kajal and Krish of influencing Tanya, she eventually decides to go ahead with the wedding.
Despite everything, Abhira begins avoiding Armaan. Even when he tries to help her, she distances herself. This sparks gossip among people in their community. Later, when some troublemakers approach Abhira, Armaan comes to her rescue and claims he still has a right to protect her. Abhira, fed up, tells Vidya to ask Armaan to stop interfering in her life. In the final moments of the episode, Kaveri steps in. She tells Armaan firmly that if he has truly moved on, then he should let Abhira do the same. Instead of trying to control her future, Kaveri asks him to leave and allow Abhira the freedom to choose her own path.
