SummerSlam 2025 Night 2 Highlights, WWE: Brock Lesnar shocked the wrestling world after making his first WWE appearance in two years, attacking John Cena after the gruesome WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes on Night Two of SummerSlam 2025. After Cody beat Cena in a Street Fight to regain the WWE Championship, Lesnar’s music hit for his first WWE appearance since 2023. He entered the ring and delivered an F-5 to Cena. After the match, Cena had given Rhodes the title before giving him some words that made the new champion emotional.

WWE SummerSlam Live: Chaotic finish!
Night Two ends just like Night One, complete chaos! Fans were expecting a heel turn from Cody Rhodes, only to be surprised by Brock Lesnar’s shocking return. Lesnar sent out a clear message, hitting Cena with an F5. The Beast emerged for his first WWE appearance since 2023. Insane turn of events. It was a wild ride. Thanks for tuning in.

WWE SummerSlam Live: Lesnar is back!
Brock Lesnar is here! The Beast returns while Cena was having a moment alone inside the ring. Lesnar hits him with an F5 to Cena, making his intentions clear and sending out a message to everyone out there.
WWE SummerSlam Live: Rhodes is the new champion!
Now, Rhodes kicks out after three Attitude Adjustments on the trot. Cena went for an avalanche AA through the table. Cody counters with an avalanche ‘Cody Cutter’ as both go through the table. Cody then salutes at Cena, before hitting him with the final Cross Rhodes to pick up the win. He regains the title

Cody getting booed for hitting Cena with the exposed turnbuckle two times. He then hits Cena with three Cross Rhodes on the trot, but the former kicks out. Cody is in disbelief. The crowd is ecstatic.

After delivering a flying leg drop and a fourth AA, Cena was unable to secure the win. The two take the fight away from the ringside. Cena throws Cody under the entrance entrance area. Few seconds later, Cena was seen carrying Cody with the help of the elevator shaft. Cena hits another AA, the most painful one so far

John Cena drives Cody Rhodes with an attitude adjustment through the table. That’s the third AA of th night. Cody kicks out after Cena tosses him into the ring. He eventually fights back to hit a Cross Rhodes.
WWE SummerSlam Live: Rhodes’ tactic backfires!
Cody places the chair between the turnbuckles but gets thrown into it by Cena, who then hits the AA. However, Cody kicks out at two. Rhodes seemingly looking unhappy with the crowd cheering Cena. He hits Cena with a piledriver moments later. There seems to be something wrong with Cody today.

John Cena went for the AA on the steel steps but Rhodes counters to slam him on it instead. Rhodes then goes to the top of the turnbuckle but Cena puses him before Cody could make the moves. Cena carries the steel steps and throws it out of the ring, straight at the challenger.

John Cena seems to have got that adrenaline back! He is looking fired up. On the opposite, Rhodes seemed a bit emotional, after givivg a tribute to his father, the late Dusty Rhodes. Anyways, we haven’t seen this John Cena in a while. So, will Cody Rhodes eventually turn heel and beat Cena? Rhodes gets booed by the crowd

To end the night, we have a WrestleMania 41 rematch between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, and it’ll be a street fight where anything goes. Cody gets the crowd going with a stunning entrance promo. Buck stops right here!
WWE SummerSlam Live: Dominik Mysterio retains!
Dom outsmarts Styles! Dirty Dom retains the ICT title after a series of tributes to Eddie Guerrero. Styles was able to get the Cab Crusher submission to Mysterio, but he took off his boot. He then got shoved by the referee and with the official not looking, used his boot to hit Styles. It knocked him out, and Dom climbed up for the frog splash to retain the championship.

Dominik Mysterio with a tribute of his own to Eddie Guerrero, 20 year on from that custody match. Hits the michinoku driver on Styles, before bringing out the ‘Three Amigos’.

Wow, this is amazing! AJ Styles with a stunning tribute to the late great Eddie Guerrero.
WWE SummerSlam Live: MFT to Solo’s rescue!
Jacob Fatu fought hard but the numbers game was too much. Talla Tonga, Tanga Loa and JC Mateo all got involved to help Solo retain. Jimmy Uso did come to out. He hit a superkick each to Mateo and Loa, but he too got cleaned out by Talla Tonga, who also handcuffed Jacob Fatur. Solo eventually walked out of the cage through the gate.

Solo Sikoa went for the Samoan Spike but gets taken out by Jacob Fatu, who has been the second best so far in this match. The Samoan Werewolf gets rallied by the crowd as he lands a series of punches to Solo, who then gets driven into the cage multiple times by his former personal enforcer. Solo tries to send Fatu the same way, who bounces off the cage on his feet, leaving Solo completely shocked.

From “I Love You, Solo” to “I Hate You, Solo”, Jacob Fatu has come a long way. He lost the title to Solo at Night of Champions, following an intervention from Talla Tonga, who made his WWE debut that night. Can he defy the numbers game to retain the United States championship?

Blunder by Bayley as Becky retains! She tried to help Lyra there, but accidentally hit her with that chain, allowing Becky to capitalise and pin te challenger. Lyra can no longer Becky for the Intercontinental Championship. Bayley looks disappointed. Lyra is down and out

Lyra fights back after being zip-tied! She uses the fire extinguisher to blind Becky, before eventually getting rid off the zip tie. What an incredible display of grit and determination by the young girl.

Becky with a vicious attempt to choke Lyra. She uses the chain before eventually driving her through to the steel step. She then fires a series of shots at Lyra, using a kendo stick and a chair. If all of this wasn’t enough, she had zip-tied Lyra before hitting her with a spanner.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Intercontinental Championship match has started. ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch is defending the title against fellow Irish Lyra Valkyria. If Lyra loses, she can’t get another title shot as long as Becky is the champ.

WWE SummerSlam Live: Wyatt Sicks get the job done!
The Wyatt Sicks retain! What a match! It had everything. The first attempts to climb the ladder were unsuccessful as the momentum rotated between all of the teams. The ladies — Candice LeRae, B-Fab and Nikky Kross — got involved as well. LeRae got thrown off the ladder by her own husband Johnny Gargano, accidentally. However, Erick Rowan and Uncle Howdy interruption allowed Lumis and Gacy in regrouping. Gacy eventually climbed the ladder to take the titles off.

WWE SummerSlam Live: Bodies flying, tables crashing!
It’s been a chaotic start to the match with bodies flying everywhere. Gargano and Gacy take down the first table, before Lumis hits Montez Ford with a frog splash through the second table. Rey Fenix replicates Lumis, crashing the third table. However, Axiom takes the cake with his Spanish Fly, driving Angelo Dawkins through the fourth table.

Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis will have to do an awful lot to walk away with the titles. They know that they can still lose the titles without being pinned.

There can’t be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match without the OGs in attendance. Folks, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardyz are in the house. The two iconic tag teams were involved in the first-ever TLC match at SummerSlam back in 2000. Watching them here brings back so many memories.

Naomi pins Rhea to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Rhea had Iyo down and out with that Riptide off the top. However, Naomi broke the count at two before pinning Rhea from behind.

Iyo went on a rampage there, and almost got pinned in the end! Starts off by taking both Naomi and Rhea out with a somersault off the ropes. She then hits them with multiple double knees at the turnbuckle.

Lively start by Naomi! She absolutely dominated Iyo and Rhea in those early exchanges. Great stuff from the champion. However, both the challengers combine once again to take her out, before exchanging some blows.

Naomi has gone out of the wrong as he she wants Rhea and Iyo to exchange some early blows. However, she gets surrounded by the two outside the ring. All three of them return to the ring before Rhea and Iyo team up to rattle Naomi early.

WWE’s chief content officer Triple H is here to address the crowd and the viewers. He says Night 1 was just a trailer, and that Night 2 is going to be even crazier. The MetLife Stadium goes berserk as Rhea Ripley’s music hits.

The excitement is palpable as we build up to Night two. The triple threat match for the Women’s World Championship between Naomi, Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley will get us going. Cena vs Rhodes will be the main event.

After Cody Rhodes forged his signature, John Cena delivered a fiery message this week on SmackDown. There has been a common notion that Rhodes might turn heel and beat Cena, who will automatically turn into a babyface once again.

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and CM Punk ebbed and flowed. Punk pinned Gunther to win the title, before disaster struck for the “Best in the World”. Seth Rollins, alongside Paul Heyman, returned after the Main Event, to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, hence proving the general notion that he was faking his injury all along.
