June 19, 2025: The Netherlands currently sit at the top of the points table in the ongoing Scotland T20I Tri-Series, boasting two wins and one loss. Their most recent victory came against Scotland, where they secured a 17-run win in a high-scoring contest. Batting first, the Netherlands posted an impressive 198/7 in 20 overs, thanks to a sensational 90 off 57 balls by Michael Levitt, who hit 6 fours and 5 sixes. Supporting knocks from Scott Edwards and Ryan Klein added depth to their innings.
Scotland, in reply, got off to a shaky start and never quite recovered despite a fighting 51 off 27 by Brandon McMullen and a contribution of 26 by George Munsey. The middle order failed to fire, and although Michael Leask threatened a late comeback, Scotland fell short, finishing at 181/9. Aryan Dutt was the pick of the bowlers for the Netherlands, bagging 4 wickets in the series so far.
