Netherlands hosts Spain in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals first leg at the De Kuip stadium in Rotterdam on Thursday.
The Dutch finished second behind Germany in League A Group 3 with nine points, while the Spanish finished top of League A Group 4 with 16 points.
Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg will be officiating the match between Netherlands and Spain in their Nations League quarterfinal first leg fixture. The 36-year-old referee made his debut in the Allsvenskan – Sweden’s top-flight for men’s football – in 2013.
He became a FIFA referee in 2016 and has since officiated in UEFA tournaments like the Euros, Champions League, and Europa League. His first and only match to date in the Nations League came last year in September when he refereed a League A match between Scotland and Poland.
