Two more earthquakes shake South Carolina overnight

Two additional earthquakes have struck South Carolina on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

The first earthquake struck about 4 km NW of Coronaca. Its magnitude was 2.1, and it occurred at 6:47 p.m. on Tuesday.

The second struck about 3 km NNE of Coronaca. Its magnitude was 1.7, and it occurred at 4:23 a.m. Wednesday.

Over the weekend, 10 small earthquakes rattled the state in the same area.

The strongest one reached a magnitude of 2.9, and the weakest 1.5.
