The makers of ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ pushed the release date of their movie from July 25 to August 1 as ‘Saiyaara’ which released on July 18 created a huge buzz at the box office. While many thought that perhaps the makers of ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ got threatened by the success of ‘Saiyaara’ and hence pushed the film,Mrunal Thakur has now opened up on it. Mrunal is seen opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’ and the movie also starred Ravi Kishan, Deepak Dobrial, among others. Mrunal opened up on the competition from ‘Saiyaara’ and the actual reason behind pushing the release date. She said during a chat with Miss Malini, “If a film like this is doing well, we want it to breathe right. We want it to get its due love and recognition. I mean, why not celebrate Saiyaara yaar? Let’s give all the screens and everything to a film that truly deserves that much love.”

She revealed she has not watched the film yet but is looking forward. “I haven’t watched the film yet because I have been promoting lately, but it’s on my list. I want to watch it.
