Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan out of ICU, friend shares pic from hospital

Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan recently met with a serious car accident near Moradabad, resulting in major injuries. He underwent a six-hour surgery and is expected to have another one soon. As per his friend Govind Digari, Pawandeep is now recovering and has been shifted from the ICU to a private room.

The singer met with an accident on May 5. Following the accident, Pawandeep Rajan and two others were rushed to a nearby hospital, before being transferred to a Delhi hospital for advanced treatment.

Rajan sustained multiple injuries, including fractures in his legs, head, and shoulder.

On Tuesday, his team issued a statement updating fans about his condition, revealing that he underwent a six-hour surgery and is scheduled for another operation within the next three to four days.

Now, Rajan’s close friend Govind Digari shared a picture of the singer from the hospital bed and updated fans about his health.

Earlier, Rajan’s team shared the statement on the singer’s Instagram story and said that he suffered multiple fractures, along with other injuries. The statement read, “Yesterday was a very difficult and hard day for the family and all his well-wishers. Whole day he was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness. However, after whole lot of diagnosis and examinations, he was taken into the operation theatre around 7 pm and after 6 hours some of his major fractures has been operated successfully and he is currently in the Medical ICU under observation. Post 3-4 days rest he will again be operated for the rest of the fractures and injuries (sic).”
