While there are several reports surrounding the new star cast of the show, recent reports suggested that Riya Sharma is now in contention to essay the female lead. Reports suggest that the actress has been approached to play the female lead of the show. Well, India Forums brings to you some exclusive scoop straight from the sets of Jhanak. Our very well placed sources close to the show inform us that Erica Fernandes has now been approached to replace Hiba Nawab as the new lead of the show. ”Erica has been approached by the makers of Jhanak to play the new lead and she is also giving her mock test today,” informs our source exclusively.

Further the source reveals that even Riya may be a part of the show. They say, ”If all goes well, Erica and Riya both will be a part of Jhanak.” We asked the source if the story of the show will be a love triangle once again. However, they were unsure about this development.

Media reports also suggest that Sehban Azim, Zain Imam and Rohit Chandel have also been in contention along with Arjit Taneja to play the male lead of the show, however, things are still nascent and in the pipeline and there is no confirmation on the same.
