Gaurav Khanna defeated Nikki Tamboli and Tejasswi Prakash to clinch the trophy of MasterChef. Nikki Tamboli was announced as the first runner-up while Tejasswi Prakash secured the third position.

Celebrity MasterChef first runner-up Nikki Tamboli got an oven and fridge while Celebrity MasterChef second runner-up received a gift hamper. For the unversed, the runner-ups didn’t receive any cash prize money.

Did you know Gaurav Khanna took home Rs 20 lakh after winning Celebrity MasterChef India? He was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 million as he took home the trophy of the popular reality show.
While Gaurav earned Rs 20 lakh as winner prize money, the amount was three times lesser than the money that Tejasswi Prakash bagged in eleven weeks. She reportedly took home Rs 66 lakh for her participation in the show.
Gaurav was reportedly paid Rs 4 lakh per week as his remuneration for Celebrity MasterChef.
“Tejasswi Prakash is being paid a whopping amount for her participation in MasterChef India. Following her stint in Bigg Boss 15 and Naagin 6, the actress now commands a premium for her shows. Considering her popularity, the channel and the production house have no qualms in paying her a decent sum of money. We have heard that Tejasswi is charging Rs 6-8 lakh per week for Celebrity MasterChef. This makes her the highest paid contestant of the season,” a source earlier told Filmibeat.
