Banijay Asia, the production house that has been backing Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi for years is reportedly calling it quits now.
According to a report by the Khabari, the production house has decided to back out this time and as a result of which, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 looks at risk. Not just Khatron Ke Khiladi, reports also suggest that the upcoming season of Bigg Boss may be at risk too.
Banijay Asia, aka, Endemol India, has the rights to back Bigg Boss in India. In this case, their exit may come as a shocker and trouble for Colors TV. If the production house actually calls it quits, the show may now move to another channel.
While we await more confirmation on the same, from what India Forums hears, the senior management in the channel has apparently also received an email by the production house today.
What is the reason behind this sudden ouster is still under the wraps, however, this move may come as a big blow to the channel.
The production house exiting Khatron Ke Khiladi this year is giving fuel to speculations surrounding the show’s future. The show mein either not take place at all, or if it does, it May not air on Colors TV, if whatever the yes does not work out.
For those who do not know, the first season of Bigg Boss, which was hosted by Arshad Warsi, had aired on Sony TV. Given Banijay’s sudden exit, speculations surrounding the show moving back to Sony can be considered too.
While there is no official confirmation from both the channel and the production house yet, this news is definitely going to be a shocker for not just the viewers of both Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss, but to the actors involved too.
