Actor Ram Kapoor has always been known for his larger-than-life screen presence, but recently, he’s been making headlines for something else—his stunning physical transformation. In a new vlog shared by filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan, who visited Ram and wife Gautami Kapoor’s home with her cook Dilip, fans were treated to a warm, fun-filled interaction. Yet, it was Ram’s honest reflections on his weight loss journey that left a lasting impression. Farah, surprised by Ram’s leaner frame, remarked, “I have known him since he was 150 kgs!” To this, Ram responded with refreshing honesty: “Some people reach a level where they get work because they have nothing more to prove. I am no star, I’ll never be a star, my name is not Khan. Main size mein bada hoon ya chhota, kaam milta hai. Maine yeh kaam ke liye nahi kiya, career ke liye nahi kiya—apne liye kiya. I promised myself that at the age of 50, I would do it. ” Farah related to the mindset shift that comes with age and added, “After we reach a certain point in our life, we get serious. Even when I was 50, I thought that I should be healthy.” Ram’s wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, had revealed previously how intense and disciplined the process was. “It was a tough year. We stopped socializing and ordering food,” she shared. “He did 24-hour fasts, even 48 hours. It wasn’t just his journey—it affected all of us.” She emphasized, “He was clear—no shortcuts. It was about discipline, not just weight loss.” Having stayed away from social media during this journey, Ram finally returned with a note: “Hi guys, sorry for the slightly long absence from Insta—was working on myself quite extensively.”
