Producers of ‘Sardaarji 3’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, issued a statement on Wednesday to clarify that the signing of Pakistani actor Hania Amir was done before the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. It also noted that the film was shot before tensions between India and Pakistan escalated.

“This is to bring to everyone’s kind notice that the film, named ‘Sardaarji 3’, was shot well before the prevailing situation that our country is facing right now and it was never ever the case that any Pakistani artist was signed or was engaged after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam (sic),” the statement said.
