In tonight’s Anupamaa episode, Anupama takes charge of her new routine in Mumbai by cooking a meal and switching on the FM radio, symbolising a fresh start. Early in the morning, she gently wakes Jaspreet, reminding her to collect water from the community tap. Back in the Shah household, Leela faces difficulty lifting a water bucket. Though Prarthana offers to help, Leela refuses and snaps at her. Ansh intervenes, asking Leela to leave the heavy lifting to him and urges Prarthana to head to work, assuring her he’ll handle things at home.
Later, Prarthana silently thanks the Almighty for blessing her with another chance to prove herself. However, Leela’s disapproval of Prarthana’s presence in the house remains unchanged. Hasmuk reminds Leela that Prarthana contributes to the rent and has a right to stay. Leela, irked by the situation, makes up her mind to find a bride for Ansh in hopes of sending Prarthana away.
Meanwhile, Anupama finds herself in a tense exchange at the water queue. A woman named Savita insists on filling her bucket first and ends up doing so despite Anupama’s refusal to engage in a fight. Jaspreet steps in, defending Anupama and encouraging her to speak up for herself. She urges Anupama to stop accepting mistreatment and asks if she has ever stood her ground in life. Anupama is left pondering her past decisions.
Elsewhere, Prem gets ready to leave for the office. Moti Baa advises him to proceed with caution. During breakfast, Parag refuses to sit in the central seat, remarking that life has humbled him. Prem offers him words of motivation. When Gautam confronts Prem about a delayed payment, Prem calmly says he’s looking into the sales matters. Gautam later questions Moti Baa about Prem continuing to stay with them despite the humiliation he faced. Moti Baa decides to discuss it with Prem directly.
At the dining table, Khyati is upset that breakfast hasn’t been served yet. Rahi brings it in, and Mahi makes an entry in a completely different avatar, a saree look. Khyati instructs Rahi to serve Mahi first, praising Mahi’s hard work. Rahi feels silently wounded. When Moti Baa remarks that only two people in the house are earning, Meeta firmly counters, saying her son is at least alive. Her words stun Parag and Khyati. Both Prem and Rahi support Meeta in the heated moment.
Back in Mumbai, Jaspreet tells Anupama to pack her lunch before heading to work and once again encourages her to assert herself. Anupama quietly reflects on her journey so far and makes up her mind to truly move forward. Meanwhile, Jaspreet’s roommate brings up the topic of marriage, but Anupama avoids engaging in the conversation.
Both Rahi and Anupama feel the pangs of separation and remember each other. Rahi wonders how her mother managed so much with such grace, while Anupama doubts whether anyone back home even remembers her. Later, Prem surprises Rahi with a dinner plan, which doesn’t sit well with Mahi. She soon interrupts the couple and insists Prem accompany her to the office instead, leaving Rahi alone and reflective. She questions how her mother ever balanced a household, a job, and multiple relationships.
Anupama, determined to be independent, informs Tai that she’ll pay her share of rent. When Tai asks if she’s been to Mumbai before, Anupama’s thoughts drift to Anuj, her past love.
