Pune, 01 June 2025: The promotional campaign for Housefull 5 kicked off with high energy on June 1, as Akshay Kumar and his co-stars visited a seasons mall in Pune. A large crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the film’s ensemble cast, including Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Nargis Fakhri.
A highlight from the event that’s now going viral on social media features Akshay Kumar performing the traditional Maharashtrian fugdi dance with co-star Nana Patekar. Another part of the clip shows Akshay spinning joyfully with Fardeen Khan, drawing cheers from the excited audience. The actor’s infectious energy and desi moves lit up the atmosphere, adding a unique local touch to the promotion.
The video, widely circulated by fan pages and paparazzi accounts on Instagram, captures Akshay encouraging Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri to join in the fugdi dance as well. The playful interaction among the cast members delighted fans, making the promotional event a memorable affair.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is slated for a theatrical release on June 6, 2025. Interestingly, the film will feature two alternate endings—a creative decision that has sparked curiosity among moviegoers.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala elaborated on this novel concept, saying, “With Housefull 5, we wanted to take a bold creative swing that hasn’t been done internationally for any thriller-comedy. The idea of multiple endings has been with me for 30 years, and this film gave us the perfect opportunity to bring that vision to life.”
