End of “American dream,” Thousands of Americans leaving USA

The top reason for people to leave The U.S is for enrichment, growth and adventure, 56% of the people think the US is very conservative, while the other 53% thinks the country is too divided, 41% of people leave hoping to save money while living abroad. The expats want to move for more freedom and avoid the threat of gun violence. 30% of individuals are hoping to retire abroad, 17% say they want to move with a skilled worker visa and 18% are seeking digital nomad visas. Most of the American citizens are considering moving only after the 2024 presidential elections. Following President Donald Trump’s re-election nearly 51,000 people are Google searching “how to move to X country”. Said CNBC surveys.

Many companies who aim to help individuals travel abroad are becoming a booming business, as they help people to relocate.

Due to the increase in crime in the country, families and personal safety has become a concern, making it a major reason for them to move countries. Even citizenship-based-taxation has caused citizens of the U.S to leave as filing tax returns and income-tax highlights another burden faced by the Americans giving a rise to more Americans leaving the country. This has crushed the phrase “The American dream”.
