In tonight’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Maira takes an innovative approach to earn money for her birthday party by renting out umbrellas. Curious about her plan, her grandfather questions how she intends to make money. Maira confidently replies that she has a clever strategy in mind, and to everyone’s surprise, she pulls it off successfully. Her grandfather, impressed, comments that it’s the first time he’s seen a little girl trying to earn for her own birthday.
Later, Geetanjali asks Maira about her money-making venture. In response, Myra brings up Armaan’s temper and they both discuss about him. Meanwhile, Armaan, who works as a radio jockey, dozes off at his workplace. During the show, a caller phones in and requests his favourite song.
Armaan’s boss catches him napping on the job and confronts him. As Armaan thinks about Maira, the conversation with his boss turns sour when the latter mentions his own daughter, sparking Armaan’s frustration. Despite the clash, the boss admits he puts up with Armaan’s behaviour only because of his importance to the show. Armaan then asks for an advance on his salary. The boss agrees but mentions it will be deducted from his future pay.
Later, Geetanjali meets Armaan and, in a light-hearted moment, he chuckles at her. She urges him to bring a cake and gift for Maira, assuring him that she’ll take care of everything else. Determined to make Maira happy, Armaan tries to buy her a large teddy bear. When the shopkeeper gives him a hard time, Armaan firmly says he won’t tolerate anyone saying a word against his daughter.
While Maira waits eagerly for him, Armaan arrives with the teddy bear in hand. She notices an injury on his hand and grows concerned. When she applies turmeric to the wound, Armaan is surprised and asks how she knows this remedy. Maira proudly states that she’s seven now, implying she’s grown wiser. The two share a fun moment, playing together.
As Maira looks around for her birthday cake, Armaan realises he forgot to get one and begins to panic. Meanwhile, Abhira prepares to celebrate Pookie’s birthday, with Vidya and Kaveri offering their full support. The emotional moment moves Abhira deeply.
Back at home, Armaan scrambles to arrange a cake. Seeing his distress, Geetanjali steps in to help him bake one and insists that he should take the credit. When Maira sees the cake, her face lights up with joy. She closes her eyes and makes a heartfelt wish before blowing out the candles and cutting the cake. At the same time, Abhira wishes for Pookie to come back to her. Vidya and Kaveri stand beside her, supporting her wish.
