2025 Kia Carens Clavis Official Bookings Open, Prices To Be Revealed On May 23

Bookings for the Clavis are now open for a token amount of Rs 25,000

Kia Carens Clavis is available in 7 variants: HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK Plus, HTK Plus (O), HTX and HTX Plus.

It gets eight monotone colours: Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Glacier White, Clear White, Aurora Black, Gravity Gray, Sparkling Silver and Ivory Silver Gloss.

It gets a Triton Navy and Beige-themed cabin with both 6 and 7-seater options.

Top features include dual 12.3-inch displays, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera and ADAS.

Powertrain options include a 115 PS NA petrol engine, 160 PS turbo-petrol and 116 PS diesel engine.

Prices are expected to start from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia India has officially started taking bookings for the Kia Carens Clavis for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Buyers can put their names for the new Kia MPV at the nearest dealerships or online ahead of its launch on May 23. It must be noted that the Kia Carens Clavis will co-exist alongside the existing Carens.

The Clavis features a fresh new look with a new fascia, bigger alloy wheels and eight different colour options. It also has a new interior with more premium features. So, if you’re interested in buying the Clavis, here’s a detailed summary below.

Features & Safety

The key features in the Carens Clavis include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats with 4-way powered adjustments for the driver, 64-colour ambient lighting, and 9-speaker Bose sound system.

Passenger safety is ensured by six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, all four wheels disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, front and rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts and a level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

Powertrain Options

The Carens Clavis comes with the same engine options as the Carens except that there is an additional manual gearbox choice with the turbo petrol engine.

Price & Rivals

Kia is yet to reveal the official prices of the Carens Clavis, but we expect it to start from around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) at launch. It will serve as a more premium alternative to the Maruti Ertiga, Maruti XL6, and Toyota Rumion. You can also consider it as a more affordable alternative to the Maruti Invicto, Toyota Innova Crysta, and Toyota Innova Hycross.
