Japan’s high-speed bullet train services were halted on its busiest line connecting Tokyo and Osaka after a snake became tangled in the overhead wires, causing a power outage. Tokaido Shinkansen trains were suspended from around 5:25 pm to 7:00 pm local time on Wednesday. The snake, around metre-long, wrapped itself around power line. A similar incident had happened in 2009.
